On the 18th of October, the city of Bergamo, to the north of Milan in Italy, hosted the 32nd edition of the World Cheese Awards, the most important international cheese awards ceremony in the world. This year, 3,804 cheeses from 42 countries were entered and appraised by a team of 260 experts, taking appearance, texture, aroma and flavour into account. And our Cured Cheese Quintana Mahón- Menorca D.P.O. was awarded the Super Gold Medal in the cured cow cheese category. We couldn’t be happier!
The next World Cheese Awards Will be held in Oviedo from the 4th to the 7th of November 2020… and we’ll be back to compete yet again!
